Startup Program Terms

Last updated Oct 22, 2026

The Elios Startup Program offers selected startups promotional credit, discounts or other support to help them use Elios. Offers can include promotional credit and discounted startup pricing, in the amounts each offer states. These terms supplement the Terms of Service and Credits and Promotions Terms.

1. Applying

Apply at Elios for Startups, or write to startups@elios.ai. Tell us who is building the project, what it does and how you expect to use Elios. Estimates are welcome; you are not making a usage commitment by sharing a forecast.

Applications are welcome from early-stage businesses, including bootstrapped teams, funded startups and founders preparing to launch. No particular investor, accelerator or funding round is required unless a specific partner offer says otherwise.

Provide accurate material information and have authority to apply for the business or project. If a company has not yet been formed, the founder accepting the offer must be identified as the Customer until an approved transfer to the company is completed. A personal email address is acceptable; it does not by itself make an otherwise eligible business ineligible.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify eligibility, prevent duplicate awards and understand intended use. Do not submit confidential business plans, sensitive personal information or customer data unless needed and requested through an appropriate channel. Application information is handled under the Privacy Policy.

2. Review and offer

Submitting an application is not a commitment to buy Services and does not guarantee acceptance or a particular award. We evaluate applications based on factors such as the stage of the business, intended use, expected usage, previous benefits and available program capacity. A public “up to” amount describes the largest award available under the stated offer; the amount awarded to an individual startup may be lower.

If we approve an application, an authorized Elios representative will send a written offer by email or another identified acceptance channel. The offer will state:

  • The Customer, eligible Elios account and offer acceptance deadline.
  • The credit amount, eligible charges, activation date and expiry or explicit absence of expiry.
  • Each discount’s rate or calculation, eligible meters, start and end dates, and any usage conditions.
  • Whether benefits combine with the standard signup credit, other offers and negotiated pricing, and the calculation order.
  • Any support or other benefit actually included, with its scope and duration.
  • Any minimum spend, required purchase or other commercial commitment, if one is proposed.
  • How to accept and who to contact about the offer.

A minimum spend, exclusivity obligation, investment right, publicity obligation or requirement to give a testimonial does not exist unless separately and explicitly accepted in writing. A discount offer alone does not create a subscription. General eligibility does not guarantee an identical offer for every applicant.

3. Acceptance and activation

The offer becomes binding when it is accepted through the method stated in the offer and any stated activation conditions are met. We will confirm the activation date and the account receiving the benefit. Do not assume credits or discounts are active until that confirmation or the account reflects them.

If an offer contains an unclear amount, date, condition or combination rule, ask us to clarify it before accepting. Only an authorized Elios representative can amend an offer; informal estimates or public examples are not promises of a particular award.

An approved offer may cover Elios generally or specified eligible usage. The offer must identify any product or third-party charge it excludes. It does not promise automatic access to future products, private features or capacity beyond the account’s enabled limits.

4. Using the benefits

Benefits are for the startup’s own eligible account and cannot be resold, transferred to unrelated businesses or used to obtain repeated awards through duplicate identities. Using Elios to run a startup’s legitimate customer-facing application is permitted; that is not a prohibited transfer of credit to end users.

Keep material application information accurate. If an offer expressly makes a fact an ongoing condition, tell us when it changes. Raising a funding round, growing usage or reaching a product milestone does not by itself end an accepted award unless the offer clearly made that event a condition.

Service usage remains subject to the Terms, AUP and applicable product terms. Credits and discounts do not replace required consent, identity verification, account security, carrier registration or other conditions of using a product.

5. End of the offer

When a credit award is exhausted or expires, or a discount period ends, the account returns to the applicable standard rates or another accepted rate arrangement. We will not extend a discount or issue replacement credit automatically unless the offer says so. Paid continuation requires an authorized billing arrangement under the Terms; otherwise the Services may pause or be restricted.

You can stop using and release Services at any time, subject to an expressly accepted commitment in the offer. Resources left allocated may continue to accrue charges as described in the Terms. Unused promotional benefits have no cash redemption value.

We may revise or close the program for future applicants without cancelling valid accepted offers. We may correct a material award error, revoke a fraudulently obtained award, or end benefits for a material breach or failure of an express continuing condition, following the notice and review process in the Credits and Promotions Terms and underlying agreement. We will not retrospectively charge for legitimate usage that a valid benefit already covered merely because the program ends.

6. Questions and document priority

Contact startups@elios.ai for application and offer questions. There is no guaranteed application response time unless we expressly publish one that we can support.

The written accepted offer controls the benefit’s commercial details. These Startup Program Terms control program participation, the Credits and Promotions Terms control credit mechanics, and the Terms govern use of the Services. The DPA and mandatory law retain their priority. A change to these program terms does not retrospectively change an accepted offer.
