| Usage | How it's measured | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Active CPU | Time your code spends on the CPU. Waiting on the network or a model is free. | $0.00000333 per vCPU-second $0.012 per vCPU-hour |
| Memory in use | Memory your computer holds while it works, not the amount it declares. A frozen computer holds none. | $0.00000167 per GiB-second $0.006 per GiB-hour |
| Storage | Your computers' filesystems and your templates, measured each hour, frozen or not. | $0.04 per GiB-month |
| From a parent | The part of a filesystem a computer still shares with the template or computer it came from. | $0.024 per GiB-month, 40% off |
| Exports | Data you export from a computer's filesystem. | $0.04 per GiB |

Assumes a computer is frozen 60% of the time it works. Awake, your code uses 25% of its CPU and 40% of its memory. 60% of each disk comes from one template.
Excludes taxes, credits and third-party costs such as models.
- Active CPU1 computer × 2 vCPU × 25% × 8 h × 40% × 30 days × $0.012 per vCPU-hour = $0.58
- Memory in use1 computer × 4 GiB × 40% × 8 h × 40% × 30 days × $0.006 per GiB-hour = $0.92
- Template10 GiB × 60% × 1 month × $0.04 per GiB-month = $0.24
- From a parent1 computer × 10 GiB × 60% × 1 month × $0.024 per GiB-month = $0.14
- Owned1 computer × 10 GiB × 40% × 1 month × $0.04 per GiB-month = $0.16
Frequently asked questions
New accounts start with $5 in credits, which pay for usage on any product. When they run out, nothing is charged until you add a payment method and turn on paid usage. The Credits and Promotions Terms apply.
Elios counts the CPU time your computer actually uses. Time spent waiting on the network, a disk or a model isn't CPU time, so it costs nothing.
Only for its storage. A computer freezes while it waits for its next task and wakes when work arrives, so frozen time uses no CPU or memory.
Calls go to and from numbers in the US. Each one is priced per minute of the call time the carrier bills, and a transferred call bills each of its legs.
No. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes. Where taxes apply, they're added to your invoice.
Usage draws down your credits, and automatic top-up stays off until you turn it on. You can also give each computer usage limits that notify you or pause the computer when it reaches them.
No. Your models run with your model provider, which bills them. While your code waits on a model, the computer uses no CPU time.
Yes. Larger workloads can get volume rates and terms agreed in writing. Talk to sales. Startups can apply for up to $5,000 in credits through Elios for Startups.
